Location Specifics Princeton (Shreveport/Bossier Metro Area), Louisiana. Our farm is approximately 20 minutes drive from downtown Shreveport, the third largest city in Louisiana.

Food Provided Interns have access to full range of farm products and some family pantry items.
Expectations Must be 18 or older with valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Able to handle physically demanding tasks as well as extreme weather conditions. Able to handle heavy objects (two 5 gallon buckets of water and feed etc.) Must work well with others but comfortable on solo tasks and projects. Teachable. Avid learner/reader. Open to new ideas and perspectives. Infectious positive attitude. Independent and self driven. Can handle long hours when required to finish the job. Pride in your work. Perfection isn't expected but good craftsmanship is a priority. Passionate about farming as a career/profession.

Position Description 2017 Season Intern: We are offering a unique experience for an aspiring farmer. This is a full-time on-farm commitment You will be completely immersed in the farming lifestyle! Learn all aspects of Regenerative farming on a very active fully diversified farm. While your primary responsibilities will be daily chores and production support tasks, you will have daily opportunities to participate in a wide variety of farming/business activities. There will be weekly one on one/classroom style instruction sessions in addition to on the job training.
Work Schedule 8-12 hours/day 5-6 days/week
