Qualifications Required We are seeking a confident candidate (or farm couple/candidates) with solid integrity, adaptive thinking skills, and high intrinsic motivation. While this position is to own the responsibility in supervising and coordinating all facets of livestock production, we have a framework in place complete with a mentor/consultant to help augment areas of increased need. Be readily available for emergencies and management-related requests. In-season work load is usually six days a week with hours drastically reduced off season.
Location Specifics Weatherlow Farms sits atop one of the highest points in bucolic, seaside Westport, MA. Our 200 rolling acres of pasture, field, woodlands, and wetlands are home to a growing abundance of domesticated animals and wildlife. This farm has trails through the woods, numerous ponds, and 70 acres of premium, finishing-quality pasture.

Land Description 70 acres of finishing-quality pasture and balanced, mineralized soil. All pasture has permanent woven wire perimeter fence and water lines installed for ease of subdividing with electric temporary fence. The farm has an experienced guard dog and herding dog are on site.

Description We currently produce and direct market the highest quality grass fed beef, lamb, poultry, chevon and pork and run a specialty cut flower business. We are still in our developmental years and are building a retail store, an inspected kitchen, and will host events on the farm. We also have a successful goatscaping business and look forward to expanding pork and poultry production over the coming years. There is a lot of room for a farmer or farming couple to grow with and into this business. Weatherlow Farms is in its third year of operation and is growing by leaps and bounds.
