Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally

A positive, go get ‘em attitude is a must!!
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Quickbooks
The position is a salaried, full time year-round position.
The Product/Processing Manager is a hands-on management position who is responsible for the following:
Managing staff and working in our state inspected poultry processing facility
Continued development and management of inventory systems of on-farm products and USDA processed meat
Working collaboratively with Livestock Manager & Farm Manager/Owner
Scheduling and managing 3-5 cooking staff – for food prep, weekly food truck and on-farm food events.
Establishing on-farm food events and catering opportunities
Prepared foods & menu development
Wholesale ordering & fulfillment
Documenting & control of food costs
Supervising farmers’ market staff
Works closely with farm accountant & office manager
Overseeing planting and production in farm garden
Other tasks as required

The salary range is $30,000-$35,000 depending on experience and also includes farm vegetables, meat and eggs.
Pat's Pastured is a sustainable livestock farm located in East Greenwich, RI. We produce free-range chicken, turkey, duck, goose and eggs, pastured pork, and grass-fed beef for local farmers markets, wholesale accounts and through our meat CSA. Additionally, through Pat's Pastured To Go we utilize these products to make delicious and locally conscious food. We currently have 2 food carts and a food truck that serve at farmers’ markets and catering events and have a line of prepared foods.
