Have a better understanding of what grasses are and why we need to keep it long. The importance of good water and how to set watering points. Learn about dogs with sheep. Putting up food.

Position Description Put in electric fence, move cattle and sheep, check the water and check livestock. Work on celaring brush from electric fence, fix fence and who knows what ever comes up.
Work Schedule We try to work about 8 hours 5 days a week. Light on the weekends and have some weekends off.
End Date 2018/03/01
Description We are looking for folks to be an intern for 6 or 12 months. Our goal is to teach you how to setup paddocks, work cattle and sheep, look for good grass genetics, and hope that you will learn some gardening. We provide a place to live on the farm. We do have a family doing chickens and pigs. So you could learn what they are doing. We are mushrooms and direct marketing them into Columbia. We also have a saw mill and are trying to learn on what to do with the lumber.
